Jenni Great versus The Curl is the adventure of young Jenni on a mission to rescue her sister Molly from The Curl, a sorcerer. The Curl has imprisoned Molly until Jenni brings him a note from her magical Cello. The Cello’s bow is broken and without its magical notes, Molly is doomed.
With the help of her friends, O the robot stove, General Grant the ant, and Sabbionetta the Cat, Jenni creates a plan to fix the Cello and save Molly. Her plan takes them on a wild adventure through the mystical land of New Zealand encountering new characters along the way. All while evading capture from The Curl’s servant monster Styx.
In the end, the Cello is fixed, and Molly is safe but the defeated Sorcerer casts a final spell that turns Jenni’s magical world of singing spiders, poetic robots and dramatic ants into something resembling a quiet home after a long day of play. O the robot turns into the stove she so resembles, Cy the encyclopedia into a stack of books, and sister Molly into a doll…or were they always that way?
