Hello & Welcome to Your Discount CCSU Textbook Store!
I trust these words find you well. I'm writing to introduce to some of you, and remind others about your off-campus discount textbook store adjacent to CCSU. We're Another Bookstore, the other bookstore for CCSU textbooks.
Another Bookstore is across the street from DiLoreto Hall next to Dunkin' Donuts. We're locally owned and independent. No corporate headquarters in another state. All Connecticut State University bookstores are run by Barnes & Noble College Booksellers. When you support a local independent bookstore like ours, the revenue is directly funneled back to the community throughout Connecticut. (Here's Proof)
We absolutely guarantee our textbook prices are lower than the local competition. (If we make a mistake you paid more, bring in your receipt and we'll refund the difference and give you a free notebook for your trouble!)
Another Bookstore is eager to support the CCSU Academic Community as well as the local New Britain Community. We will donate money, products, and our time to any and all campus activities we can. Please contact us if you would like us to participate in any project. We provide book scholarships to local high schools and donate to many national & international charity organizations. We provide solid employment to many CCSU students.
Sometimes we may not carry a book for a particular course. If we don't have your book, bring in your syllabus and we'll order it for you. We have books for most of the classes because your textbook information is public and we are allowed to get it from the teachers. However sometimes teachers forget to place their orders with us. If you mention it to your instructor that you couldn't find the book at our store, they will sometimes contact us directly with the order. If you're an instructor we would be happy to know what book you're using, you can email our textbook manager (and owner) rob@anotherbookstore.org or call us at 860.223.7552 or fax us at 860.223.7558. We also provide custom printing for instructors who have specialized course packs and we will special order any book you would like us to.
